Species
This family comprises two sub-families. The Nolinae are a small group found world-wide. Six species have been recorded in the British Isles, of which four are resident. All are small whiteish or grey moths which can be mistaken for micro-moths.

The Chloephorinae has many species in the tropics, but there are only three in the British Isles. At least three more species are immigrants.
