Description

L: 11.5 - 13 cm

Slightly smaller than the Stonechat, but has similar shape and general behaviour.

It is only found on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. There are probably only about 1300 pairs.

Its breeding habitat is on barren slopes, and in ravines with bushes and odd trees.

This species is considered to be Endangered owing to habitat loss.
